Founded in 1972 with the mission to champion positive ageing, for half that journey since 1998, we at BJF have been supporting people living with dementia to have their voices listened to, and wishes heard, through the work of our Dementia Advocacy service and the team behind it.
Marking the work of this life-enriching free service, funded by the Intergrated Care Board (ICB), last year we celebrated 25 years of providing Dementia Advocacy support across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
To understand more about what Dementia Advocacy is and what it means to those who we support, we’ve put together this short film hearing from BJF staff and the people supported by the service.
