This Christmas activity was a great opportunity to bring people together, to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing. Our community room provided a welcoming festive space for people to gather, to chat and to create a handmade Christmas decoration to keep.
We loved hosting this Christmas event, it was lovely to hear conversations flowing, with smiles and laughter, everyone feeling festive. Thank you to The Clay Hub and huge thanks to everyone who joined our session.
Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but also of reflection; a time to think about all that has passed; of friendships, achievements, celebrations and reflecting on the difference we all make. We hope you enjoy reading our short newsletter, a few highlights of 2024, a snapshot of people, projects and purpose.
Thank you to all BJF Board members who generously give their time so that we can continue to meet our aims and fulfil our purpose. Board members met at Parkfield House and online for their final meeting of 2024, followed by a Christmas lunch with BJF staff and visitors.
Everyone at the BJF wishes you all the warmest of wishes throughout this festive season. The Christmas season is a time when celebration and togetherness take centre stage. We hope that you celebrate with loved ones, making good memories; embrace others who may not have many people to celebrate with, and welcome them into your hearts; and spare a thought for those less fortunate than us, at this festive time.
