Ageing in Stoke on Trent: local groups working together

We are inviting groups to come together during Older Peoples Week in October, meet some Age Friendly Stoke volunteers and explore the potential for a future active network.

At BJF we are keen to support the ethos of an age friendly Stoke on Trent and we know that there are many local organisations dedicated to supporting and working alongside older people.  We hope that by bringing groups together we can better understand how older adults are currently being supported in the city and, building on the work already achieved by the Age Friendly City group, we want to explore constructive ways of taking this work forward.
