Tea & Tech session Monday 28th October 1.30 to 3.30pm
BJF are excited to invite Dr Ruth Chambers a retired GP, Technology Enabled Care Lead for Staffordshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership and colleague Paul Eden to our Tea & Tech session on Monday 28th October at Parkfield House. Ruth and Paul will deliver a short session on using digital tools to support self-care, a new programme funded by the Community Foundation.
Tea & Tech is a digital support session led by BJF Volunteers. The session is for people aged 50+ who can drop in to Parkfield House once a month for a cuppa and chat, to help build digital skills and confidence.
The October session will introduce Tea & Tech members to digital aids such as apps and trusted websites that can enhance mental health and wellbeing. We will explore an app called PatientAide and other mental health apps that are freely available. The apps are helping local people with mental wellbeing and the feedback is positive.
Promoting self-care and mental wellbeing is an important aspect of positive ageing. If you or someone you know would like to join this session please call 01782 844036
